Former Yucca Valley Town Council member and Mayor Pro-Tem Lori Herbel announced she is running for Yucca Valley Town Council. Herbel says she is running to address the concerns of the people and the business community by holding quarterly open Town Hall community meetings.
She also said she would encourage the growth of local small businesses, examine the annual budget line-by-line, restore the Hi-Desert Nature Museum to full service, expand and enhance community programs for youth and seniors, and engage in an immediate and intensive effort to make the sewer affordable for all.
