LOPSIDED WIN FOR YUCCA VALLEY IN SEASON OPENER

The Yucca Valley High School Varsity Trojans beat Riverside Prep High School 56-13. Coach Andrew Amosa said both sides of the ball were dynamic in the win, scoring on offense, defense, and special teams.  the defense was led by Joe Jennings and Chris Worrell with six tackles each. Elijah Lynch and Lucas Lopez led the offense. The Trojans have their home opener this Friday against Excelsior High School. Junior varsity will start at 4 p.m. and varsity will play at 7 p.m.
