LONG-TERM AIDS SURVIVOR WILL DISCUSS MEDICAL MARIJUANA AT SATURDAY MEETING

Long-term AIDS survivor Tom Place will talk about long term survival by using cannabis at a special meeting of the Marijuana Anti-Prohibition Project. Place will discuss how to get healthy without getting high, what types of products give the best results, how to get the right dose, and how to save money. He will explain how a patient can use cannabis for serious medical problems such as chronic pain, cancer, diabetes, and AIDS, as well as neurological and autoimmune disorders. The meeting is set for 3 p.m. today, November 5, at the Beatnik Lounge on the highway in Joshua Tree.
