LOCALS TRAVEL TO SEE FORMER TPHS STUDENT PLAY FOR WEST POINT

Local family and friends of Twentynine Palms High School grad Lindsey Scamman took a road trip last weekend to see her play basketball for West Point.

Cadet Lindsey Scamman, daughter of Steve and D. J. Scamman of Twentynine Palms, was at Arizona State University where West Points’ Black Knights played the Sun Devils.

Scamman graduated from Twentynine Palms High School in 2018. About 50 family members, friends, and former coaches were on hand to watch the basketball game and cheer for Scamman.

Also in attendance were Kate Bobadilla, Taylor Scamman, and Mary Carbiener, and current TPHS varsity basketball players.

During the game November 10, the Black Knights played hard, but the Sun Devils overtook the game and the Black Knights lost, 83 to 51.
