The Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station is urging local residents to apply for two positions at the Joshua Tree station. The office specialist positions are fulltime, and employees may choose to work either a four-day, 10-hour shift, or a five-day, 8-hour shift. Some of the duties include transcription, data entry, auditing investigative reports, and distributing reports. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. June 30. An online test is part of the application process.
