A school bus driver in the Morongo Basin is facing charges of child molestation and child pornography. Alex Gomez, 57, of Twentynine Palms was arrested Thursday night after a search warrant was served at his horse ranch on Mesquite Springs Road. The County District Attorney’s Office said he’s accused of victimizing two girls, a 4-year-old and an 8-year-old. Detectives believe these alleged crimes happened while Gomez worked as a bus driver. He’s employed by a private contract company for the Morongo Unified School District. Investigators are concerned there may be other victims.
