The Hi-Desert Division 62 of the California Retired Teachers Association will award a $1000 scholarship to a current, full-time, junior four-year college or university student, to be applied to that student’s senior year in 2012-2013 at a four-year college or university of his/her choice. The student must be a resident of the Morongo Basin OR a graduate of a Morongo Basin High School. The scholarship is dedicated to providing financial assistance to the student who has made a firm commitment to a career as a public school teacher.
