The California Retired Teachers Association will hold its next meeting on Friday, October 12 at 10 a.m. in the Helen Gray Center on the Hi-Desert Medical Center campus on White Feather Road in Joshua Tree. They will have a technology workshop presented by Jeff Cooper of CalRTA. You may bring your laptop, iPad, and or cell phone, and any questions you would like addressed.
Their community outreach requested donations this month are Crayola crayons, yellow highlighters, and/or graph paper.
Lunch will be provided at a cost of $15 per person. Reservations are required. There is no cost to those who attend the meeting but choose not to order lunch. Seats do need to be reserved for those who attend but do not dine. Please call Sandy Widman at 760-853-0454.
