The general meeting of the Cactus Sewables Quilt Guild will take place on Monday, March 7, in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center, 57098 29 Palms Hwy. Doors open at 12:30 pm and the meeting begins promptly at 1:00 p.m. Special guest speaker is Barbara Steckel of Palm Desert and Alaska. She has a wonderful lecture entitled Spread Your Wings. Guests are welcome. A $3 donation is requested.
