The Morongo Basin Conservation Association’s fall Desert-Wise Living program focuses on California’s Net Zero Energy residential building program. You’re invited to learn about the concept with a focus on energy-saving retrofit possibilities for your home. Pathways to Zero Net Energy Living happens Saturday, November 4, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Yucca Valley Senior Center, located across the parking lot from the Community Center. Hear about Net Zero Energy retrofits from two experts from Southern California Edison. Local solar contractors, Yucca Valley town employees and others will have exhibits and guidance on the steps and incentives available for home owners. Refreshments will be served.
