This Saturday, May 11, letter carriers across the Morongo Basin will be collecting food for families in need. Residents are encouraged to leave a bag filled with non-perishable food such as canned meats, soups, juice, vegetables, pasta, cereal, peanut butter, and rice, next to their mail box before the regular mail delivery Saturday. Mail carriers will deliver the food donations to a local food bank to help Stamp Out Hunger.
