The Morongo Basin was well represented yesterday when the All-DeAnza teams were announced. The selections are made by league coaches.
Yucca Valley tailback Lucas Lopez and quarterback Elijah Lynch were voted on the all-league First Team. Lopez carried the ball for 899 yards and 15 touchdowns in eight games, and Lynch passed for 1,972 yards and 27 touchdowns versus seven interceptions. He also ran the ball for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Twentynine Palms, quarterback D’Shaun Barrett and tailback Hunter Tygart were selected. Barrett passed for 1,589 yards and 21 touchdowns against nine interceptions, and ran for 353 yards and five interceptions. Tygart rushed for 1,175 yards and 12 touchdowns.

K.J. Morton, Hunter Tygart, Isaiah Castaneda and D’Shaun Barrett.
Yucca Valley:
Elijah Lynch, Lucas Lopez, Albert Montes-Reyes and Joseph Jennings.
SECOND TEAM

Finn O’Brien, Tristan Carpenter, Casey Allen and Adam Mapuatuli. (Jonathan Carson, honorable mention).
