San Bernardino County fire crews have been busy during the annual “Fire Prevention Week,” providing educational resources for the entire community.

While visiting local schools, San Bernardino County fire crews taught fire prevention basics, showed equipment and interacted with the community members.

Wrapping up the week, Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree crews participated in Yucca Valley’s Community Disaster Preparedness Day. Crews did an auto-extrication demo utilizing the “Jaws of Life,” showing how crews work together to extricate patients from vehicles.
