LOCAL FIREFIGHTERS ON LAKE INCIDENT STRIKE TEAM

A brush engine with a crew of three firefighters from Morongo Valley left at 6 a.m. this morning to help at the Lake Incident in Jurupa Valley. The Lake Incident started about 11 a.m. Monday in the Santa Ana river bottom and as of 7 a.m. today, is reported to be about 105 acres and is 10 percent contained. It’s unknown at this time how long the firefighters will be at the scene.
