LOCAL FIREFIGHTERS “FILL THE BOOT” FOR MDA

Morongo Basin fire personnel raised more than $1900 Friday and Saturday at a “Fill the boot” event at Walmart in Yucca Valley. County fire crews from fire stations 41 & 42 participated in the event, raising money for Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Fire crews from throughout the county raised $26,000. Firefighters also gave tours of the fire engine, posed for photos, and offered fire prevention tips. Thanks to all those who stopped by.

Ambulance operators Heidi DuPuis and Kylan McDaniel were at Walmart to help fill the boot to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
