LOCAL DETECTIVE MAKES AN ARREST FOR KING OF THE HAMMERS THEFT

A 29-year-old man suspected of stealing thousands of dollars of property during the King of the Hammers event was arrested in Orange County. On Saturday, February 6, a vendor at King of the Hammers reported that someone had stolen several items, including a Haro electric bike, valued at $6,000. The investigation led Deputy Michael Sellers to the home of Michael Lang, in Lake Forest. A search warrant at the home found about $16,000 in stolen property at Lang’s home, including the Haro bike. Deputy Sellers determined that the property had been stolen from multiple vendors at the King of the Hammers event. Michael Lang was arrested for investigation of possession of stolen property and booked into an Orange County jail.
