When the Morongo Basin Democratic Club meets this Saturday (June 13), members will consider a resolution in support of measure Y, the hospital’s ballot initiative on affiliation with Tenet Healthcare. A guest speaker will present the case for California Senate Bill 128, which would give terminally ill people the right to end their lives. Saturday’s meeting is open to all registered Democrats and invited guests. Attendees will gather at 9 a.m. for fellowship and a $10 power breakfast at Bruce’s Coyote Kitchen on the Copper Mountain College campus.
