The Morongo Basin Democratic Club will hold a rally Saturday, June 16, to protest the Cadiz water project. Cadiz plans to pump and sell water from the desert aquifer to water districts in Orange County. The rally is set for 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the corner of Park Boulevard and Highway 62 in downtown Joshua Tree.
