The Morongo Basin Democratic Club awarded four scholarships to graduating seniors in the Morongo Basin. Dana Mahelona-Roger of Twentynine Palms High School and Sadie Mecham of Yucca Valley each received $500 scholarships, and Breneisha Cleveland of Twentynine Palms and Nichole Sugita of Yucca Valley received $250 scholarships.
