The Morongo Basin Area of the California Highway Patrol will be holding a FREE Start Smart Class on Tuesday, June 17th at 6 pm. The class is geared towards newly licensed teen drivers and their parents. Teen drivers are at great risk of being involved in a collision and the program curriculum is directed at combating the problem. The class is held monthly and a reservation is required due to limited class size. Anyone interested in attending the class must register by with Officer Joan Griffin at 760-366-3707.
