LOCAL CARPOOLS GOING TO EAGLE MOUNTAIN HEARING IN PALM DESERT TOMORROW

The Bureau of Land Management and the National Park Service have completed their study on the adjusting the southern boundary of Joshua Tree National Park to include more than 22,000 acres of public lands near Eagle Mountain. The public can express their thoughts on the proposal at a meeting 6 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Desert. The National Parks Conservation Association is coordinating carpools that leave from the Mojave Desert Land Trust building in Joshua Tree at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
