High Desert Beekeepers Association will meet this Saturday, February 24, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Nourishing Tree, 62057 Twentynine Palms Highway, in Joshua Tree. HDBA is about education and establishing a community of support for new and current beekeepers in the desert. Transitioning bee hives from winter to spring will be the topic. You do not have to be a beekeeper to attend; just have an interest in bees.
