The 4-H organization is an international youth program that encourages kids to reach their full potential through leadership and agricultural activities. Some of the project areas include cattle, dogs, horses, poultry, gardening, clothing and textiles, cooking, indoor rock climbing, scrapbooking, and leadership development. The first meeting of the 2018-19 year will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, at the Yucca Valley Elks Lodge at 55496 Yucca Trail.
