Green Today reproduces the sounds of Green Day, the American punk rock band formed in 1986. Green Day’s hit albums Insomniac, Nimrod, and Warning saw great successes in the 90s, but none compared to the 2004 runaway international hit “American Idiot.” You can catch it live when Green Today hits the outdoor stage for a free concert starting at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, at Tortoise Rock Casino in Twentynine Palms. Now in its fifth season, “Live at the Rock” presents a new tribute show every Saturday night. Concerts are open to all ages. In the coming weeks, catch Live at the Rock tributes to The Cars, The Doors, and an 80’s Rock Tribute rounds out April.
