Without the show even open, the matinees for “The Little Mermaid” on March 20 and April 3 are already sold out. So Theatre 29 has added a third matinee on opening weekend, March 13. The curtains rise at all matinees at 2:30 p.m. Directed by Gary Daigneault and Ed Will, “The Little Mermaid” is a love story that tells the story of the mermaid Ariel, who pursues the human Prince Eric. Ariel makes a bargain with the evil sea witch Ursula to trade her tail for legs, but the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of her friends.
