In just about any home, one can find a pair of eyeglasses that are no longer being used. That same pair of eyeglasses can change another person’s life. Sara Snyder explains how you can help…
Imagine if you could help a child read, or an adult succeed in his or her job, or a senior maintain her independence. Donate glasses and change someone’s life. Every day, the Lion’s Club recycled eyeglass programs do all of this and more. Sixteen businesses in the Morongo Basin will be collecting used eyeglasses that will be distributed to people in need. Some of the locations where eyeglasses will be collected at the Twentynine Palms Senior Center, the Z107.7 studios in Joshua Tree, and at the Center for Healthy Generations in Yucca Valley.
