LIGHTNING GOLF DEFEATS DESERT CHAPEL

In their first away match of the year Monday, the Joshua Springs Christian High School Lightning golf team defeated Desert Chapel Academy, 308-334.

Playing at Mesquite Country Club in Cathedral City, Josiah Fontillas took top honors with a 45 while Eli Wahlberg fired his best score of the season at 61.

Completing the rest of the nine-hole loop, Aaron Pringle came in with 64, Noah Dufour 67, and Devin Lander 71.

The Lightning golfers’ record now stands at 4-3 and 1-0 in league play as they prepare for their next away match at Desert Dunes Golf Club in Desert Hot Springs, Tuesday, April 2 at 2:45 p.m.
