Thought Theatre in Pioneertown is putting on a ritual theatre piece this weekend that incorporates the work of several writers and live music. Here’s Rebecca Havely with the details…
This time of year we celebrate the season of light by reflecting on the dark in our world, how humanity learns about, appreciates, and grows in “Light.” Project Sheba, presents a Thought Theatre production entitled “Light.” The staged reading includes original writings of several artists as well as live music. It features actors Ann Van Haney, Adia Joelle, Derrik Lewis, Levi Linn, and AG Vasquez plus live music by the artistic director of the piece, Miri Hunter and her band “Hunter and the Wick’d.” Performances are Saturday 16 at 7 p.m. and Sunday December 17, at 4 p.m. Tickets are $10 general admission and $15 for reserved seating.
