Sexuality and religion can be a sensitive topic for many, however Lifetree Café provides a safe and caring environment to discuss these issues. The program titled “God and Gays: An Hour of Civil Conversation,” features filmed stories of two authors describing their struggles of finding a Christian faith while wrestling with their sexuality. This free 60-minute event will be held Sunday, May 20, at 4 p.m. Lifetree Café is located behind Little Church of the Desert at Veterans Way and Ocotillo Avenue in Twentynine Palms.
