LIFESTREAM HAS NEW POLICY ON TATTOOS AND DONATING BLOOD

0

LifeStream blood bank has changed its policy about accepting blood donations from people with tattoos. Under the old policy, blood donors had to wait a year from their most recent inking to donate blood. As of August 31, donors with tattoos may give blood as long as the tattoo was created with sterile instruments and unused ink in a licensed, professional facility in California, and if the tattoo is fully healed. For more information about the new policy, call LifeStream at 800-879-4484, and press 1.
