The deserts of the American Southwest are home to some of the most unusual and diverse bee species in the world. Friday, May 11th at 7:00pm, Dr. Hollis Woodard, presents “The Secret Lives of Desert-Dwelling Bees.” This presentation will highlight the unique biology of some of the more charismatic bee species that are found in the deserts. This lecture will be held at the Old Schoolhouse Museum, 6760 National Park Drive, in Twentynine Palms, the costs is $5 per person at the door. There is an optional dinner with the speaker at 5 pm at the 29 Palms Inn, room is limited and attendees are responsible for their own meal.
