Insects can survive in temperatures over 110 degrees Fahrenheit in the shade with little to no water. Professor of Entomology Kurt Leuschner will share more amazing facts about the unappreciated world of insects and other arthropods and how they connect with their environment in the Morongo Basin on Wednesday, November 13 at 5:30 p.m. A $5 donation is appreciated. The lecture will be held at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum in Yucca Valley.
