Throughout the year, the monthly Brown Bag Lecture Series presented by the Hi-Desert Nature Museum features a wide variety of speakers who present topics of special interest for high desert residents. This month’s presenter, Dona Jenkins, Master Gardener, will present the benefits of growing organic vegetables, the process of growing vegetables, and much more. She will provide a list of resources for learning more about edible gardening and a “how to” grow, harvest, and use your home grown vegetables. The public is invited to bring a lunch and enjoy the presentation at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. May 21. Complimentary beverages are provided. Admission is $5 per person, or free for museum members.
