Thursday, May 17, the Hi-Desert Nature Museum’s Brown Bag lecture will be “Exploring the Solar System,” presented by Steve Caron of the Twentynine Palms Astronomy Club, and will include an in-depth look of the solar system made by space probes and the fascinating discoveries they’ve made. Bring your lunch, bring your friends, or just bring yourself to the Hi-Desert Nature Museum, located in the Yucca Valley Community Center Complex at 57116 Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley. The lecture starts at noon. Admission is $5, or free for museum members/sponsors. Beverages will be served. For more information call 760-369-7212.
