The Desert Institute and Copper Mountain College will hold a free lecture Friday, October 17 on “Challenges to Joshua Tree National Park.” Panelists will include Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent David Smith; the park’s Chief of Resources Andrea Comptom; and the park’s Chief of Interpretation Jennie Albrinck.
