LECTURE ON CHALLENGES TO JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK TOMORROW

The Desert Institute and Copper Mountain College will hold a free lecture Friday, October 17 on “Challenges to Joshua Tree National Park.” Panelists will include Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent David Smith; the park’s Chief of Resources Andrea Comptom; and the park’s Chief of Interpretation Jennie Albrinck. The lecture is free, but reservations are required. Register at www.joshuatree.org. The lecture will be held at 7 p.m. at the Bell Center at Copper Mountain College.
