Public lands play a key role in America’s identity, but the rules about who has access to public lands are not always reflective of the country’s demographic diversity. The Hi-Desert Nature Museum will hold a free brown bag lecture 6 p.m. Thursday, September 21, in which a panel of experts on public land use will discuss the challenge of equal access, and race, class, and ethnicity.
