LECTURE ON LESBIAN-GAY-BI-TRANSGENDER EQUALITY

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, a program at Cal State San Bernardino’s College of Extended Learning, will host a two-hour lecture, titled “Eyes On the Prize – Major Legal Milestones in the Evolution of LGBT Equality,” on Wednesday, April 17, from 10 a.m. to noon. The lecture will take place in the Oliphant Auditorium of the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus, 37-500 Cook St. The lecture will review the history of court cases and laws that are milestones in the position of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered people in society, and will survey changes that are in progress in the military, mental illness classifications, and same-gender marriage. Parking is $5 per vehicle.
