LEARNING CENTER OPENS TOMORROW ABOARD TWENTYNINE PALMS MARINE BASE

The Combat Center will unveil its new Lifelong Learning Education Center during a grand opening ceremony Thursday, September 5. The new facility features 18,000 square feet of space that includes 10 classrooms, three computer laboratories, three supply rooms, wireless internet and a student lounge. In addition, National University, Copper Mountain College, and DeVry University will hold classes at the center. The Education Center will also host weekly workshops for those leaving the military, as well a mathematics and English remedial skills program.
