The Twentynine Palms Historical Society will offer a free hands-on workshop for adults and children who want to learn how to create eye-catching compositions using desert plants and found objects for the upcoming Weed Show. Award-winning Weed Show veterans will present ideas, thoughts and finished presentations, and answer questions during the workshop, which will run from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, October 14, at the Twentynine Palms Old Schoolhouse museum. This year’s show, themed “There’s No Business Like Old Business,” is set for November 4 and 5 at the Old Schoolhouse Museum, on National Park Drive in Twentynine Palms.
