The Hi-Desert Nature Museum continues their popular education program, Science Saturdays, with exciting topics in May. On Saturday, May 10, the topic will be weather. Meteorology is the study of the atmosphere, its composition, and the changes that take place in it, which helps us understand the weather. During this Science Saturday Museum Educator, Crystal Mason, will help children will uncover the mysteries of the atmosphere and its phenomena including how we forecast the weather and what clouds can tell us. Science Saturdays are for school aged children and take place from 11-11:30am at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum. This program is free and no preregistration is required.
