Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation. It is practiced by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and, in fact, makes us feel alive. If that sounds interesting to you, or if you’d like to know more, reporter Eric Knabe says to sign up now…
Reiki teaches that if one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki masters Michelle Nemecheck and Stacey Clayton are offering a one-day “hands on” intensive Reiki course on Saturday, February 16 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. A workbook and supplies will be provided. A certificate will be awarded up course completion. The course is $175 per person; call 760-418-5170 to register and pay a $25 deposit. A Reiki III and master course is planned for the future. Add your name to the list so you can be scheduled. Classes will be held at Rainbow Stew on the highway in Yucca Valley.
