Many people feel that public lands face unprecedented threats, and are worried about how to preserve advances made in environmental conservation. A panel of conservation experts and consultants will be a part of a Black Rock Symposium 7 p.m. Friday, February 24, in which they will discuss “How to Make Your Voice Heard on Conservation Issues in an Uncertain Political Climate.” Sponsored by the Desert Institute at Joshua Tree National Park and Copper Mountain College, this free symposium will be held at the Bell Center on the campus of Copper Mountain College.
