Long-time residents of Twentynine Palms, Jeff and Bob Dunn, conducted this lecture last year and too many people were turned away from this standing-room-only event. The Dunns agreed to tell their family history again this year. Don’t miss out on this event. Sponsored by the Desert Institute at Joshua Tree National Park and the Twentynine Palms Historical Society, this lecture starts at 7 p.m. Friday at the Old Schoolhouse Museum, 6760 National Park Drive, in Twentynine Palms. This lecture is open to the public and costs $5 per person at the door. Door opens at 6:15 and seating is limited, so arrive early. No standees permitted.
