LEARN ABOUT TELESCOPES AT SKY’S THE LIMIT

Sky’s the Limit Observatory and Nature Center invites stargazers to enjoy the desert night sky. A variety of telescopes will be available for guests to view the incredible cosmic sights. Here’s reporter Tanisha Cureton with your invitation…
A special invitation goes out to people interested in learning about scopes as well as those who have brand new (or even old) equipment and could use some coaching. Volunteers will set up a variety of kinds and sizes of telescopes on Saturday, March 24. This free public event begins at 8:00 p.m. and will last around three hours. The campus is always open, so guests are asked to arrive around 6:30 p.m. to set up equipment. The Observatory is at 9697 Utah Trail in Twentynine Palms, just outside the main entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. For more information call 760-365-7897.
