Wonder Valley resident, Susan Doggett, has long had a fascination with birds of prey as well as migratory bird rehabilitation. Known as the “Bird Lady” in her former home in Orange, California, her 40 years of experience in bird rehabilitation lead to her position at the official wildlife care center for the Marine Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms. Doggett will speak on local raptors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday, October 27, at the Wonder Valley Community Center on Amboy Road in Wonder Valley.
Doggett plans to bring a parliament of live owls to this free presentation. Everyone is welcome.
