The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department will host the Morongo Basin California Highway Patrol and the Morongo Basin Probation Department for a flag football tournament at Yucca Valley High School, Friday, August 16. Come see your local law enforcement battle it out for bragging rights. The gates open at 5 p.m. There will also be static displays and food vendors on site. The football game will begin at 7 p.m., and is open to the public, free of charge, although donations will be accepted for the Sheriff’s Explorer posts.
