LAUGH IT UP IN LANDERS WITH THE “CURTAIN’S UP!” IMPROV TROUPE

The “Curtain’s Up!” Improv troupe, in conjunction with The Landers Association, is offering a weekend of improv fun in Landers with a workshop and a performance. Here with all the details is Rebecca Havely…
The “Curtain Call Players” once again are seeking a new venue to call home in Yucca Valley. After two highly successful Improv Comedy performances at the La Grange performance space, the troupe learned that the location was being put up for sale and is no longer available as a performance space. The all-volunteer community theatre troupe will continue to seek a venue in Yucca Valley to produce stage plays and musicals in the future. In the mean time they will tour with their “Curtain’s Up!” Improv troupe. The “Laugh It Up in Landers” weekend includes an improv workshop and an improv comedy performance. The workshop is Friday, May 18 at 7 p.m. at Bellfield Hall on Reche Road. Come play some improv games and learn from the troupe cast which includes, Jericho Mc Williams, Ben Bees, Andrew Dieleman and Cyrus Short with Host Liyan Lagevardi. A $5. cash donation is suggested, but not required. Saturday, May 19 at 7 p.m. “Curtain’s Up!” Improv will perform live, tickets are $10 each. Intermission snacks prepared by The Landers Association will be available for sale including chili cheese dogs, homemade potato chips and more! Come play with us as we “Laugh it up in Landers”. The Improv workshop and performance will take place at Bellfield Hall 58380 Reche Road in Landers. Tickets are available at the door, cash only please.
