“Songs for a New World,” a modern song cycle by composer Jason Robert Brown, will stream online right in the comfort of your living room. Director Scott Clinkscales has assembled a veteran ensemble of award-winning performers to bring this production to life. Haley Kooyman flexes her comedic muscles in showstopping numbers, while Jasmine Shaffer and Jacquie Nicholson pore on the power. Ben Bees, Christian Quevedo and Van Angelo add solid vocals and soulful presence. Ceisley Jefferson, Haley Izurieta & Liyan Lagevardi, alternate sweet and sassy in their performances. Since in-person performances are still prohibited, this production was filmed at Theatre 29.
