LAST WEEKEND FOR “INTO THE WOODS” AT THEATRE 29

The Broadway musical, “Into the Woods,” will end its run with two more performances this weekend at Theatre 29. “Into the Woods” intermingles the lives of many of your favorite fairytale characters in unexpected ways. A baker and his wife, cursed by a witch, journey into the woods to reverse the curse. In the woods they meet Cinderella and her family, Little Red Ridinghood and the Wolf, the Witch’s daughter Rapunzel, handsome Princes, and Jack and his beloved cow. When Jack’s beanstalk brings them a visit from an angry giant, we see how consequences haunt them all in disastrous ways. Final performances of Into the Woods are Saturday evening at 7 and Sunday at 2:30. Tickets are $15, $12 for seniors and military, and $8 for students with ID. “Into the Woods” has a more mature theme, so parental guidance is suggested for children under 13. For tickets visit theatre29.org or call the Theatre 29 Box Office at 760-361-4151.
