LAST WEEKEND FOR “ACTRESS” AT THEATRE 29

This weekend is the second and final weekend for “Actress,” an original play at Theatre 29, that drew enthusiastic audiences and a standing ovation during its opening last weekend. “Actress,” written and directed by Twentynine Palms resident Josh Lazar, is a family drama that tells the story of the youngest daughter who runs away from home to become an actress in Hollywood. As the play opens, she has returned home for the first time in 10 years to perform the same role her older sister performed in high school. The play is performed by a highly experienced cast of actors from Los Angeles. The play runs tonight and Saturday at 7 p.m., with a 2:30 matinee Sunday. Tickets are $12 to $8 and are available at theatre29.org or by calling the box office at 760-361-4151.
